Infrastructure

At Corasen Communications, we have designed our infrastructure to accommodate the security and high-availability demands of our customers. Our infrastructure has been fully optimized for security, speed and redundancy.

Facility

Corasen has a network centre in Vancouver. Our network centre is state of the art and employ UPS protected power, electronic key card access and closed circuit TV monitoring all in a climate controlled environment.

Connection

We are connected to a multi-provider switched network that provides triple fail over. The network employs the BGP4 protocol to ensure that data is routed over the best possible route. We connect to four backbone providers; TELUS, Group Telecom, CRTV and AllStream to ensure that your data reaches the end-user in the fastest, most efficient manner possible.

Security

Many web service providers provide fast web servers and connections, but rarely look at the security aspect of their intrastate. We have developed our infrastructure with security in mind. All our servers reside behind enterprise class firewalls to secure your data and protect our network from attacks.

Servers

hostingOur servers are built to enterprise level standards. All servers utilize redundant components such as hard drives for data reliability and redundancy. All servers are backed up to table-backup devices. We employ the latest releases of server operating systems of Redhat Linux or Microsoft Windows Server, to ensure the best performance and reliability for our customers. All our servers and components are from well-known manufacturers, HP, Dell and Asus.

Architecture

We have architected our network to enterprise class standards. We use a multi-tied security approach to protect servers that are more critical than others. This architecture also allows for easy scalability and better redundancy.
